Landing and overflight permits for civil flights are issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV). State and military aircraft require diplomatic clearance through government channels. We handle both routes.
Which documents are usually required?
Typically the aircraft certificate of registration and airworthiness, insurance, noise certificate, operator details (and AOC for commercial flights), crew licences, the schedule in UTC and passenger information. Requirements vary by flight type; we confirm the exact list for your flight.
How long does a permit take?
It depends on the flight type and the authority. Send your request as early as possible; we will give you a realistic timeline for each permit on the day you ask.
Can you obtain permits for other countries on my route?
Yes. We coordinate overflight and landing permits for the countries along your route, so one team manages the whole trip.
What happens if my schedule changes after approval?
We request the revision straight away and keep you updated until the amended permit is confirmed.
Do private flights need a permit to land in Vietnam?
Yes. Foreign-registered private and charter flights need prior permission to land in Vietnam. We prepare the application and supporting documents for you.
